Family Day: Where to See Wildlife on Long Island
Spending a day with family is a great way to bond and re-focus on what's most important in life. If you're looking for something fun to do as a family, consider heading off to see wildlife on Long Island. The Town of Brookhaven Holtsville Ecology Site and Animal Preserve is a publicly owned preserve built on a former landfill site. The town took ownership of the land in the 1970s and has been working ever since to preserve it in a way that benefits both people and native wildlife.

Go Kayaking This Summer Around Long Island
Paddlesports are not only great exercise, but they're also a great way to relax, connect with nature, and enjoy all the outdoor beauty Long Island has to offer. Living in an area surrounded by water means ample opportunity for kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding. Paddlesports happen to be some of our REALTORS® favorite summer hobbies. The park has a nice boat launch and dock, so water access is easy. The whole park is calm and serene and an excellent place to find some peace and quiet.

May 6th is National Space Day. What better way to celebrate than by checking out the tremendous innovations in space exploration we've made over the years? Or by experiencing the beauty of space for yourself? There are great options to do both right in your new neighborhood. If you're looking at Nassau County homes for sale, you can pay a visit to the Cradle of Aviation Museum. Or if you're looking at Suffolk County homes for sale, you'll want to see the Vanderbilt Planetarium.
